●Certification procedures and schedule
Procedures for JAKIM Halal certification in factories, etc., are generally proceed by the following procedure. In case of HJC Muslim friendly certification or HJC non-alcohol and non-pork certification will simplify the part. Please note that there is limit of application times for JAKIM Halal certification.

③ At JAKIM Halal certification is acquired factory, the factory cannot manufacture products other than Halal.
④ At HJC non-alcohol and non-pork certification factory, manufacturing other than Muslim products can be done, but it requires to set up the section for exclusive use individually and manufacture so as not to be mixed.
◆ Warehouse business
① Requires to keep the copy of the products manufacturer's certificate.
② It requires to have a work standards specifying the work procedure etc., and also requires quality inspection record.
③ At JAKIM halal certification warehouses, storage and handling of non-halal products is prohibited.
④ At Muslim friendly certification warehouse, storage other than Muslim products in the same yard is possible, but it requires to set up the section for exclusive use individually and store so as not to be mixed
◆ Logistics business
① It is necessary to keep a certificate copy of the product manufacturer to be handled.
② It requires to have a work standards specifying the work procedure etc., and also requires quality inspection record.
③ If JAKIM Halal certification for logistics is acquired, products other than Halal cannot be transported or handled.
④ In case Muslim friendly certification logistics business, Muslim products and otherwise shall use different dedicated vehicles. And, it requires to manage and operate them not to contaminate each other.

● Certification renewal
JAKIM Halal certification should be renewed every two years, and HJC Muslim friendly certification, HJC non-alcohol and non-pork certification should undergo an annual renewal examination. Note that if you do not renew within 12 months, the certification will expire.

＜Food＞
[Q01] What should be noted as pork and pigs-derived ingredients?
[A01] It is well known that Islam is not allowed to eat pork. However, pork-derived ingredients are also not allowed. On the other hand, in Japan, ingredients derived from pigs are included in a variety of products and attention is necessary.

＜Worship＞
[Q01] Can you tell me about the timing of worship?
[A01] In Islam, the worship service is set up five times a day: before dawn, day, afternoon, sunset and night.
